Socialist Big Brother
The socialist Portuguese government led by PM Jose Socrates has launched a new law by which a chip would be applied to all automobiles in the country, allegedly in order to controlling the insurance legality and TÜV inspection updating. The law has been considered unconstitutional by the political opposition as it clearly violates privacy data policy warranted by the Portuguese constitution.
